Day 18 - A Slower Paced Day
On Thursday, we just stayed at the campsite for a relaxing day. It was a little bit warmer and a big bonus - no RAIN! About 11:00 AM, a longtime friend, Dawn, came to visit, bringing us Robin’s Donuts - how nice.
Kasey and Dillon were still sleeping so I made them get up and be sociable (or as sociable as teens can be). We visited for a while and then we walked the two teens next door to the watersides for some fun (and peace and quiet for the two of us to go back and chat). We caught up and reminisced all afternoon and then Dawn had to head back to Teulon, MB. A quick supper of Shepherds Pie and then an early bedtime - the two teens were asleep before me I think!
