Day 20 - The Forks

The new museum being built at "The Forks"
It was great to have Dale with us at last! No more driving for me thank goodness. We slept until about 10 AM and then we took a drive out to Lockport for lunch at Sonia’s - one last order of Fries before we go! After lunch we visited St. Andrews Church and Presbytery, one of the many National Historic Sites.
We then headed downtown to "The Forks" - another Parks Canada National Historic Site. We had a fun afternoon looking at all the sights there, shopping at the market, and enjoying the live entertainment going on by buskers. We were going to take a stroll along the River Pathway but we hadn't brought our hip waders!

We came back to the RV, stopping at the liquor store for beer and wine and at Safeway to pick up some BBQing stuff. We had a wonderful dinner of salad, potato salad and pork tenderloin/salmon (depending on who you were) with cheesecake for dessert. “Captain Phillips” movie for the evenings entertainment and then off to bed.
My trendy little "Fiat" rent a car - cute but uncomfortable to drive - Glad now
I didn't buy one like I wanted to when we were looking for a new car!
