Doesn't Dale look happy as the teens were loaded onto the bus for Adventureland (This is the only photo I took all day - Give me a break - I'm on Vacation!) |
We went back to have our breakfast in peace and quiet and then to drop off my photo for the craft contest. After that we took in a seminar or two and then visited the merchant area as Dale wanted to price sway bars and get some more LED lights. I picked up some Tupperware (sorry Kelly!) and Itasca stair mats - our rig will look topnotch now! We went back to have lunch and a quick nap (Me anyhow) before the guy came to install the sway bars - yes he did it right on site.
By the time he was finished, we took Henry for a walk and then it was time for the "Row Parties" to start. We had no idea what to expect being newbies but each state or chapter decorates their row (this year being a space theme) and serves some sort of food native to their area and/or theme related. Boy can they get carried away with the decorations - it was fantastic! As for food we had Buffalo Chili from N.D.; Kettle Corn from Iowa; Canadian Beer and pretzels from Ont.; Dr.Pepper floats from Oh.; Wine and cheese from Ca.; Green Chili Soup from Az.; Chowder from Mn.; "Moon Pies" and a lot of "Tang" just to name a few. I can't believe how much food and FUN, FUN, FUN we had! We're already planning what to serve next year because we don't want to be left out - we wish we had known what we needed to do. After a couple of hours walking from Row to Row we came back to our own row of Navions of which just about all are "First Timers" and we partied with them until 10:30 PM when the Teens returned. They had had a "blast" also!
Terri was once again "Commenter of the day"!
So you are planning to go next year as well??? Glad you had fun at the Row Parties.
